Snow Carvers' Jam

Rotary Polar Bear Dance
Rotary Club is the sponsor of a brand new dance to be held at the new Amici's Event Center (Central Avenue at Pattison Street) from 8-12. Come dance the night away for a good cause.  Benefits the Ely Winter Festival and Ely area community projects. Raffle items available. $20 tickets available at WELY, Front Porch and Klun Law Firm.

The Polar Bear Dance is an adults only event. Amici's is providing a cash bar and there will be raffles for a "Wall of Wine" and a "Pyramid of Beer" so everyone in attendance must be 21 or older. Visit the web site for more information.

NLAA Judges the Amateur Snow Sculpting Contest (20 teams)in Whiteside Park (520 E. Sheridan St.). This is a FREE event and fun for all ages! See who wins a chance to Carve with the Professionals in 2012! Hot Food and drinks available!

Concert: Mesabi Community Orchestra
The Mesabi Community Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Josh Aerie, presents a romantic-themed concert with guest solo pianist Alexander Sandor on Sunday, February 12th, 2012, in Ely featuring Sibelius’"“Finlandia", Tchiakovsky's a"Romeo and Julieta", and Rachmaninoff's a"Piano Concerto #2a" at 2:30 pm in Washington Auditorium.
